No coding required! In this fun and interactive workshop, you’ll build a simple chatbot. Need support online? You may chat with an automated virtual assistant. It’s not the future. It’s now. This workshop will get you thinking about how chatbots can be used in tech comm and to gain some basic chatbot writing experience. Bring your own group, or join one at the workshop.
• In part 1, you’ll learn some basic principles for designing chatbot conversations.
• In part 2, you’ll design a customer journey, write user scenarios, and test your conversation.
• In part 3, you’ll design a simple chatbot and publish it online. You’ll need pen and paper and a computer with Internet connection (there is wi-fi at R.I.T.) We’ll provide Internet access. No lurkers! Come to this workshop prepared to participate!

Requirements:
  • Everything is online.
  • Everyone will need a Gmail account.
